1. Nature of the Service
Belton Residents Directory is a privately operated reference to public rolls, indexes, and historical collections relevant to Belton, Missouri. It does not host government records and is not connected with the City of Belton, Cass County, a court, a library, or any other custodian.
2. Acceptable Use
Use this service only for lawful purposes. You may not use it, or information reached through it, to:
- Stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or harm any person
- Locate someone protected by a restraining or protective order
- Commit identity theft or fraud
- Make FCRA-regulated decisions (credit, employment, tenant, insurance)
- Scrape, copy, or republish the site's content at scale
- Interfere with the site's operation or security
3. No Consumer Reporting Service
Belton Residents Directory is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. §1681 et seq. Neither its content nor results from a linked tool are consumer reports. They may not be used to evaluate eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or any other FCRA-regulated purpose.

You agree to indemnify and hold the service operators harmless from a claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, that results from your misuse of the service or breach of these terms.
8. Intellectual Property
The original text, design, logo, and layout are protected by copyright. Linking to a page and quoting a brief attributed excerpt is permitted; republishing complete pages or systematically copying content is not.
9. Changes to the Terms
We may revise these terms by publishing an updated version here. Continued use after publication accepts the revision.
10. Restricting Access
We may block or restrict access, without notice and at our discretion, when a user violates these terms or abuses the service.
11. Missouri Law
Missouri law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Public-record access questions are subject to the Missouri Sunshine Law, RSMo Chapter 610, including the custodian, inspection, fee, and written-policy provisions in §§610.023 and 610.026–610.028.
12. Severability
If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in force.
