We Are Not a Government Office or Custodian. Belton Residents Directory is a private reference. We cannot retrieve or certify a government record, confirm a current occupant, remove information from an official roll, or handle an emergency. Direct a records request to the office that keeps the file. For an emergency, call 911. For stalking or harassment concerns, contact local law enforcement.

Finding the Right Record

Use the subject pages when the question is best answered by a particular kind of record, then contact the named custodian if a copy, correction, or date-specific search is needed.

  • An address, parcel, or deed holder: use the Belton street directory and the Cass County Assessor or Recorder of Deeds.
  • Telephone fiche, obituaries, or historical households: start with the Belton city directory collections and the Cass genealogy library.
  • One named person and an official verification route: consult the Belton resident lookup information.
  • Public-record access that is not online: send a specific written request to the relevant Missouri Sunshine Law custodian under RSMo Chapter 610.
