Information You Submit
Names, telephone numbers, and addresses entered in a search form are sent to the provider that operates the result service. Belton Residents Directory does not retain a copy of those searches on its own servers. When a visitor contacts us, we receive the information included in that message and use it to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Hosting records ordinary technical logs such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps. We review that data in aggregate to operate and improve the service. Cookies or comparable tools may also support basic analytics and advertising measurement where applicable.
How Information Is Used
Information is used to run the service, address technical problems, measure overall use, improve content, and answer a direct message. We do not sell lists of visitors or create individual visitor profiles.
Outside Services and Links
Links lead to Cass County and Missouri portals, library collections, archives, and sponsored result services. Those organizations control their own forms, data handling, availability, and privacy practices. Their policies apply to information submitted on their systems.
Service Providers and Disclosure
Providers that host or support the service process the technical data described above. Analytics and advertising partners may receive automatic information used for those functions. Information is disclosed when required by valid legal process and otherwise only as described here.
Safeguards and Retention
The service uses an encrypted connection, and technical logs are retained only for the operational purposes stated above. No visitor account, password, or personal profile is maintained by Belton Residents Directory.
Visitors Under 18
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. Contact us if a minor has sent information so it can be removed.
Your Information Choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you by using the Contact page. Missouri has record-specific privacy rules and breach-notification provisions in RSMo §§407.1500–1510; no comprehensive statewide consumer deletion statute was located in the Belton research. Because this service keeps little information, a request generally concerns a contact message or technical log. Public records held by Missouri, Cass County, or Belton offices are controlled by their custodians, not by us.
